It is with great pride, gratitude and sadness that I present the Annual Report of the National Shelter
Movement of South Africa (NSMSA) for 2023/2024. There is the saying that a sign of good work is working
oneself out of a job. However, although GREAT work is being done it does not seem like we are making
substantial gains in combating violence against women, and we are therefore very far from working
