I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to introduce you to our newest team member, Anisa Moosa who started on the 2nd of April 2024 in the role of NSMSA National Coordinator. We are thrilled to have her join our team and know that she will make a valuable contribution to our team and the work that we do as the NSMSA.

Anisa is a social worker by profession and joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in relation to working with gender-based violence, addiction, counselling as well as working with children and teens. She has tremendous experience in management and in a supervisory position which will be a great value and asset in terms of the work that is being undertaken the NSMSA. She has a passion of working within communities and supporting communities to respond to their challenges and needs. Through her various roles she has horned in on her coordination skills, media engagement as well as training skills, which are valuable assets she brings to the team.

In her position as the National Coordinator, Anisa will be responsible for managing GBV programmes, technical leadership, capacity building, supervision and support of the helpline staff, proposal development and internal and external representation and co-ordination. She will be working closely with the NSMSA Executive Team.
